Styling

Although a fashion film, my film creation won't be completely centred around any specific garment or elaborate items. It is more focused on simplicity and naturalness of everyday habits of the women in my film. I want to effortlessly capture them in their environments, wearing clothes they would normally wear. I've created a mood board for the type of thing I will have my models wearing.

I'm not going to tell my models to wear anything in particular or specific, I will just tell them to wear their everyday clothes and what makes them feel most like themselves. I think this is important in order to show the real them and to make my film feel authentic and raw. I believe if my models are wearing clothes that they feel make them who they are and what makes them feel like a woman, they will be more comfortable on camera. I think this is important in terms of the brand Jason Wu as representing individuality is something the designer focuses on for his audience of females. The brand Jason Wu celebrates a wide range of women and recognises their different wants and needs.
