MP1 Critiques

After completing our first mini project we had a session online where we had to share our

30 second videos in order to gain feedback and critique. As this was our first film we've ever made (or at least speaking for myself) I thought this was a really helpful process for us to learn where we can improve next time and to know what we did well. Also, it was a great opportunity for us to see what our peers have done and gain insights from this, it was like a small screening and was entertaining to see what everyone has been up to.

When I showed my video the playback quality was poor on teams and had a bit of a delay on the playback which was disappointing but the video still looked successful. I was able to gain feedback on my use of graphics and gained inspiration to learn further skills on this. Keiron said the use of my graphics on the video made it feel more personal which can relate to the brand of Birkenstock which is exactly the aim and feel I wanted for the video so this was great to hear.

Whilst watching everyone else's videos I gained inspiration from use of graphics, editing, animation, lighting, styling and audio. This helped me to see who has a similar editing style and could potentially collaborate or ask for advice in the future.
