In order for my final film to be a success I want to use a number of different women in my film, I didn't just want to use the people I live with and I want to ask some new people. Originally, I wanted to use a range of different age women to show representation for the brand as mentioned in the client brief however, after assessing my target audience I think I want to keep the models used youthful to help relate to the audience.

I messaged some of my friends to ask them to take part and they were more than happy to take part in my film. I also messaged some girls to take part, Alexis and Emily. Alexis is an AUB student who prides in her illustrative work and I told her I would love a female creative in my film to talk about her passions, she agreed immediately and we messaged for a few days sending voice notes to arrange when to film. I also messaged Emily, another student from AUB who studies fashion and has set up her own small sustainable fashion brand. I admire her work and wanted a female business owner to be featured in the film to talk about her drive and passion when setting up a business. Again, we messaged for a couple days to arrange when we can meet up to film, I understood she's busy as a third year and with her business so I was cautious of this.

After I got the go ahead from my 6 models, I was able to create a rough visual plan to help me understand how the next couple weeks are going to look and when I'm free to see each person. Obviously I need to make sure I shoot enough content for each person to make my film substantial and communicate successfully my message, so baring this in mind I began arranging times with each person. I said shooting would take between 15-30 minutes as it realistically won't take long, there's no hair and makeup involved or need to learn lines or practice a run through. This is because it's an authentic film that I want to be natural and raw feeling to show honesty and make it more relatable for my female audience.

Some of the girls who are going to be in my film didn't ask too many questions, just what the film was about and what they need to do which was fine but for some others I sent them concept boards and other plans. This helped me to communicate my idea and was almost my first glimpse of an audience response. They all responded well and said they loved the idea which was great to hear. I will next be working out a plan of action based on the next couple of weeks once I've worked out equipment.
