For my film I want spoken audio from each of my models, speaking about their background, lifestyle and experience of femininity. I want this spoken audio to be loud and a main part of the film but to make the film work and be more poetical I want to add some inspirational music in the background of this. I had a look on some royalty free music websites such as bensound, adobe audio and pixabay to try and find some music for what I was looking for. I made a Spotify playlist of the type of thing I'm looking for.
I originally asked my friend to create an audio for me as he produces music as a hobby. He sent me over a sample however, it was only 1 minute long so I asked him to extend it. He sent me over an extended version which sounded whimsical and inspiring. I added this sound onto my film and although I did like the sound of it, I didn't think it fully matched the feeling I was going for. I would attach it onto here but there isn't a feature to add music tracks.
I instead looked on Adobe stock audio to see if I could find anything similar to what I was imagining in my head, in order to send to James so we could alter the music he already made. I had envisioned something really simple, almost like a chime or a hum to be the background of my models speaking. I altered the refinement to something atmospheric and dreamy and found this audio:

This is BUCOLIC by Higher Power which was perfect. It sounded just like what I had imagined to go in the background of my film. I downloaded it and tested it out on the film, adjusting the volume and length until I had it perfect. I kept it on there until finalisation as it fit so well. It worked out well as it turned out James was occupied with a lot of work and wouldn't be able to work on the sound for a while so I told him I would use this audio I found.
I made sure to credit this song at the end of my film as I hadn't bought the complete rights for it (which cost £144) but as it was royalty free I'm still able to use it as it's not actually being posted to social channels.
